Holy Name of Jesus School’s theater program provides students with a comprehensive performing arts experience, blending creativity, teamwork, and professional instruction. Students have the opportunity to participate in a Fall Talent Showcase and a Spring Musical, both of which highlight their skills and growth in a supportive environment.
Our program exposes students to all aspects of theater, including acting, singing, movement, stagecraft, and production design. Students gain hands-on experience in set building, lighting, sound, costumes, and props, learning the collaborative nature of bringing a performance to life.
Beyond technical skills, the theater program fosters leadership, confidence, and communication skills. Students work closely with instructors and peers to develop character, refine performance techniques, and support one another in creating high-quality productions. Performances are shared with the school and local community, giving students the opportunity to showcase their talents and celebrate their achievements.
Through theater, students cultivate creativity, self-expression, and a love of the arts—valuable skills that enhance their academic and personal growth, while creating lifelong memories and friendships.
