As Holy Name of Jesus School continues to grow as an innovative Catholic school rooted in Jesuit tradition, we recognized it was the perfect time to modernize our brand—one that reflects both who we are today and where we are headed.
Symbolism
Our new Forever in Our Hearts logo is inspired by the prayer we say together each day: “Most Holy Name of Jesus, forever in our hearts.” The design features the letters HNJ embraced by the open arms of a heart, symbolizing the nurturing environment we provide from infancy through middle school.
At the top of the heart rests a cross containing the letters IHS—a Christogram and abbreviation for the Holy Name of Jesus. This ancient symbol is also central to the Jesuit seal, connecting our school identity to our Jesuit heritage.
The phrase “Since 1891” honors our long history of Catholic education in New Orleans, while affirming our ongoing commitment to future generations.
Colors and Design
Our updated colors—red and navy—reflect our school uniforms and bring a refreshed, timeless look. The logo is designed for flexibility, with both two-color and single-color versions available.
A Loyola University Partner
The addition of this phrase highlights our unique partnership with Loyola University. This collaboration reflects our commitment to innovation, academic excellence, and lifelong learning, as together we continue to grow in community, faith, learning, ministry, and mission.
