HNJ Physical Education – PreK3 through Kindergarten
The early childhood Physical Education program at HNJ introduces students to the joy of movement while building basic motor skills. Through fun games and activities, children develop balance, coordination, spatial awareness, and teamwork, all in a supportive and encouraging environment.
HNJ Physical Education – 1st through 7th Grade
The 1st through 7th grade Physical Education program helps students strengthen motor skills while learning teamwork, sportsmanship, and healthy fitness habits. Students enjoy running, jumping, throwing, and flag games, as well as unique HNJ games designed just for our school that build coordination, endurance, and confidence, all in a fun, energetic, and supportive environment.
HNJ students also participate in special events such as the Loyola women’s basketball game, Pelicans P.E. takeover, “teachers vs. 7th-grade” basketball, dodgeball with Tulane football players, and our annual Field and Water Day for PreK-3 through 7th grade.
Whether a novice or an aspiring athlete, every child is valued, encouraged, and supported in discovering the joy of physical activity. HNJ P.E. fosters healthy habits, teamwork, and lifelong memories for all Gators.
