Our Early Childhood Enrichment Program provides hands-on learning experiences starting with our one-year-olds in Little Gators.
Library: The library opens the door to different times and places, bringing stories to life through interactive activities like puppet shows, science experiments, and STEM projects that connect literature to the real world. Students learn key skills such as identifying book parts, understanding story elements, and distinguishing fiction from non-fiction. They also develop responsibility as they check out and care for library books, fostering a lifelong love of reading.
Music: Students explore a variety of musical genres, developing rhythm, melody, and teamwork through singing, dancing, and group performances. They engage with instruments like drums, shakers, bells, maracas, and tambourines, enhancing motor skills while building confidence and creativity.
Art: Our art program encourages creative expression, problem-solving, and independent thinking. Students learn to use tools such as scissors, glue, and paint through activities like drawing, painting, and collage-making, exploring different materials and techniques to develop fine motor skills and artistic confidence.
French: The early childhood French program introduces students to a new language in a fun and engaging way. Weekly participation builds confidence as children learn through songs, literature, videos, and hands-on activities, sparking curiosity and a love for French language and culture.
Life Skills: In Early Childhood Life Skills, our students learn through play-based centers that focus on sharing, friendship, and working together. Children practice recognizing and managing their emotions while developing social-emotional, co-regulation, and self-regulation skills, all in a warm and supportive environment that builds confidence, empathy, and independence.
