We are so fortunate to be a part of the most wonderful, special, and welcoming school community in New Orleans. Our children thrive in such a caring and loving environment where their academic skills can flourish, and we are grateful for their teachers who foster the love of learning. It is always a great day to be a gator!
The HNJ Community is so kind and welcoming. The parents are extremely supportive and the students are wonderful and enthusiastic about learning. It is truly a joy to come to work every day!
I love that HNJ is so welcoming. It is easy to make friends here because there are so many people in the school. The House System also helps us to spread love to one another.
HNJ's community and the genuine, loving atmosphere which it fosters are what brought us to HNJ six years ago. Our children found their best friends here, and as transplants to New Orleans, it is where we found our people. It is so much more than an elementary school; it is a home that will draw you in and make you feel loved and welcomed. It truly is a special place both for children and their families, and we are grateful to be a part of it.
Thanks to the extensive electives and hands-on curriculum at Holy Name, I was able to start Mount Carmel already knowing which classes, extracurriculars, and enrichments fit me best. That foundation prepared me for High School and helped me see the path I want to take for my future. I love being a Cub, but I will always be a Gator at heart.
I really liked how the school had a warm, welcoming community. The sports were always exciting and Coach T has been a great mentor throughout the years I've been there. There were also lots of fun activities that made tha school more enjoyable.
